Is a project that deals with women who have stopped dyeing their hair and chose their natural hair color. They are comfortable, happy and love the way they look. During the shooting sessions, I connected with each and every one of these women and I am happy and grateful for being allowed into their worlds.

I think many women would love to stop dyeing their hair, but they worry about what people think:  looking old, sigh of neglect, not flattering.

 In our society, there is still a clear fashion code with not much ‘room’ for white hair (especially not at an early age) The white is associated with old-age and this world is for the young.

These pictures show women who have chosen their own natural hair color, that blends with silver hair, an expression of life’s wisdome.

Each woman has her own reason to stop dyeing her hair. Most of them simply got tired of the endless enslavement of coloring roots every two or three weeks, or tired of trying to catch up with some standard of beauty. 

With the help of photography, I would like to empower women so that they feel free to choose and feel free to change their choice whenever they want. Hair can be in its natural color, or dyed. There is room for all possibilities and beauty can be found in all of them.
